What they are
Collectible cards, made the way sports cards are. There is no game, no stats and no rules: each card is one moment of the show, with NEURAL's picture edge to edge and its title across the bottom. They are the standard trading-card size, 2.5 by 3.5 inches, so they fit ordinary sleeves and binders.
There are 25 cards in the set, in five tiers. The higher the tier, the fewer copies of each card exist, and the rarer finishes go higher still. Every copy carries its own number, and no card will ever be printed again.
The 25 cards
Every card in Series 1, front only, lowest tier first. The pictures are small on purpose: the way to see one properly is to hold it.
Each picture is the front of that card's first copy as it was printed. Every copy of a card carries the same picture; what changes is its number. A screen cannot show a finish: the gloss, the holographic shine and the silver shards only show in the hand.
The tiers
The tier is printed on the front, beside the copy number, and shown by the signal bars in the top corner.
| Tier | Cards | Copies of each | Mark | Finish |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| STATIC | 10 cards (001–010) | 75 | one bar | Standard |
| SIGNAL | 7 cards (011–017) | 40 | two bars | Gloss |
| BROADCAST | 4 cards (018–021) | 20 | three bars | Gloss |
| PHOSPHOR | 3 cards (022–024) | 10 | four bars | Gloss |
| BURN-IN | 1 card (025) | 5 | four bars and their after-image | Holographic |
Two rarer finishes
GLASS
The same pictures, printed holographic, with a hollow diamond beside the bars.
5 copies of each of 24 cards: every card except BURN-IN.
MASTER TAPE
A one of one, printed in holographic silver shards, with a filled dot where the bars would be.
1 copy of each of the 25 cards. There will never be a second.
Both examples are card 001, THE BOX. On paper the foil does what no screen can.
| Base cards, all five tiers | 1,145 |
| GLASS | 120 |
| MASTER TAPE | 25 |
| Series 1, every copy | 1,290 |
The back of every card
Every back is that card's own. It carries:
- A line NEURAL actually said on a live show, word for word, signed with the date he said it.
- A few words about the moment the card is named for.
- The record of that show: how long it ran, how many questions he answered and how many people he talked with, and his whole career up to that day. Only counts. No viewer's name is ever printed on a card.
- The printing: first and only printing, never printed again in that finish.
- The copy's number and its own check code, which proves it is real.
Only this one back is shown. The other 24 lines are for whoever holds the cards.
Numbered, and printed once
- Every copy has its own number, printed on the front: NO. 01/75 is the first of seventy-five.
- Every copy has its own check code, printed on the back. Keep it to yourself: it is what proves the card is real.
- Each card is printed once. When a print run is done, that card is locked, and it is never printed again in that finish. No reprints, no second run.
The verify page is at whoisneural.com/verify. Type the check code from the back, and it tells you which card it is and whether that copy was issued. The page never sees your code: the check happens on your own device.
How to get one
- The NEURAL TikTok Shop, open now on NEURAL's TikTok profile.
- Giveaways during NEURAL's live shows.
- Auctions during NEURAL's live shows.
However it reaches you, a card is numbered and can be checked on the verify page. A card is never a reward for sending gifts on the live show.
